Nederburg

This rose wine of nederburg is very nice. The colour of the wine is pienk with a nice brick colour to it. The aromas of the wine is cream and srewberries, lite nuttyniss, jamyniss, cherry,rose pattel and pink lolli pops. On the palate ther's also strewberries, cherries, nuttyness and a nice jammyness.

This wine has aromas and flavors of apricots, peaches, creamy butter and vanilla.

14.5% Alc is very apparent - wine needs air! After mellowing in glass is nice and spicy. Good with pizza, however, would be better with richer meats. Food needs to be quite complex to pair with. Is not bad as a stand alone wine, although a rich creamy fat would be better to knock some alc down. Not tannic, surprisingly smooth for a varietal wine of this price point. Nice wine.

Great full bodied wine

Didn't record any comments at the time, but it was most enjoyable - touched my "old" South African palate!

Fanatstic easy drinking wine. Perfect with a great steak. very reasonably priced. A must try.
