Yeah Wine

Yeah Wine is a vibrant, independent family-run outfit based in Margaret River, Western Australia. Founded by Andrew and Sian Dawson, the winery emerged from Andrew’s experience at a larger producer—where quality fruit from Western Australian regions often ended up in anonymous bulk blends. Taking a chance on a small parcel of Geographe Tempranillo and a batch of Chenin Blanc, Andrew launched Yeah Wine in 2020, with the formal business established in 2021.

Today, Yeah Wine crafts 20+ wines in small handcrafted batches, sourcing fruit from nearly every Western Australian region (e.g. Margaret River, Geographe, Blackwood Valley, Boyup Brook, Swan Valley, Wilyabrup, Mt Barker), while handling every stage—winemaking, maturation, bottling, labelling, and sales—in-house Yeah Wine. The range includes single-vineyard offerings (e.g. Chardonnay, Riesling, Sangiovese, Tempranillo, Malbec, Grenache), region-blend wines (e.g. WA United reds and whites), small-batch specials like carbonic maceration “C Bomb Savy” Sauvignon Blanc, skin-contact Verdelho, co-fermented Syrah & Viognier, and more experimental wines like “The Whole Bunch” Syrah.

Their wines are unfined, unfiltered, mostly vegan, and made with minimal intervention—aiming for authenticity, personality, and maximal flavour impact. Exploration of unusual regions (e.g. gravely Boyup Brook hills) and varieties, plus techniques like whole-bunch fermentation, foot-stomping, and skin-contact, are at the winery’s heart.
