2004The initial high amount of sparkle in this shiraz makes it feel/taste like champange and tends to hinder you from appreciating the shiraz qualities. Once the fizziness had subdued, it was a very pleasant experience (my first sparkling red). Sparkling shiraz or sparking red wines for that matter is not my favourite, but it is definitely something to try! I would say that this was a great one to try.
