Wise Wine

Wise Wine is a premium Margaret River, Western Australian estate with a spectacular ocean‑front vineyard nestled within Meelup Regional Park overlooking Geographe Bay – the only winery in the region with direct ocean views. Founded in 1992, the winery quickly evolved under the guidance of Dr Ron and Sandra Wise, with viticulture consulting from Warren Randall and winemaking advice from Dorham Mann. From 2000 onwards, key winemakers like Bruce Dukes, Amanda Kramer, and—since 2007—consultant and Director Larry Cherubino elevated the winery’s reputation within Australia for elegant, minimal‑intervention wines.

Today, Wise Wine sources fruit from multiple renowned WA regions—Margaret River, Frankland River, Pemberton, Porongurup—to produce varietals such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Riesling, Pinot Noir, plus small-batch alternative varieties and spirits (gin, pisco, brandy). Their facilities focus on small‑batch, temperature‑controlled fermentation, allowing distinct regional expression. The site's restaurant consistently wins top honours—such as Best Restaurant Within a Winery (Western Australia Gold Plate Awards, 2024)—offering fine cuisine complementing elegant wines, all set within coastal vineyard scenery.
