Windance Estate Winery

Windance Estate Winery is a family-owned and operated certified biodynamic vineyard located 5 kilometres south of Yallingup beach, in the northern part of the renowned Margaret River wine region of Australia. Established by Drew and Rosemary Brent-White, the estate is now run by their daughter Billie and her husband Michael (aka Tyke), representing the third generation of farming and second generation of viticulture on the family property. The winery focuses on producing small batch wines of exceptional quality, emphasizing sustainable land management and environmentally friendly viticultural practices. Their vineyard spans 39 hectares, with 8.5 hectares under vine, planted with varieties including Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Shiraz, and Grenache. The vineyard is Demeter Certified Biodynamic, employing natural fertilisers, pest management through sheep and guinea fowl, and cover crops to maintain soil health and sustainability. The estate benefits from a unique microclimate in Yallingup, which is drier and warmer than the southern parts of Margaret River, contributing to the quality of their fruit. Windance Estate has a distinguished record of success, having won a total of 33 trophies and 87 gold medals, making it one of the most successful small producers in the region. The winemaking philosophy centers on sourcing and growing excellent fruit, which forms the foundation for producing outstanding wines.
