Turley Wine Cellars

Turley Wine Cellars is a renowned California winery dedicated to preserving rare, old-vine heritage. Founded in 1993 by Larry Turley after exiting Frog’s Leap Winery, Turley was driven by a passion for Zinfandel and Petite Syrah, particularly from vineyards planted in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

The winery sources grapes from over 50 vineyards across California, spanning Napa Valley, Sonoma, Lodi, Amador County, Paso Robles (including Templeton Gap), Howell Mountain, Mendocino, Atlas Peak, and Contra Costa County. These vineyards, many certified organic or under organic farming practices, include some of California's most historic and highest-quality old vines

Under the stewardship of winemaker Tegan Passalacqua, Turley produces approximately 50 distinct wines each vintage, with a core focus on old-vine Zinfandel and Petite Syrah—made using native yeast fermentations, minimal intervention, and traditional techniques
