Reviews for Pope Valley Winery
light color for a Zin. The nose was very light blackberry.
A very mild currant and berry flavor, light tannins, with a mildly astringent finish. A little washed out for my taste, but I don’t drink a lot of Zinfandel.
This is a fairly subtle wine with straight forward flavors. It is an easy drinking red, but lacking in depth. For the price it is a very respectable if not a little boring bottle of wine.
