Overview
John Babier grew up in the Loire Valley in France, where his family had been making wine for the past 150 years. Maison la Belle Vie (French for "House of Beautiful Life") was planted in 2003. The first vintages from the 4.5 acre vineyard, were 2006 Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Rosé and Muscat; a dessert wine that is traditional in the Loire Valley in France.
