Granite Rose Estate is a boutique Australian winery located in the Bendigo region, specifically in Harcourt North on the foothills of Mt Alexander. Founded in 2016, the winery was born from a passion for Bordeaux and Mediterranean-style wines, inspired by extensive studies and overseas experiences in traditional winemaking. The estate focuses on producing delicate and complex wines using traditional, bio-friendly methods, including slow basket pressing and maturation in 225-litre French oak barriques with minimal filtration to preserve natural flavors. Their vineyards cover 30 acres in Bendigo, with initial plantings of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, reflecting their commitment to Mediterranean-style reds. Granite Rose Estate also collaborates with partner producers across Australia to offer a diverse selection of fine wines. Their modern and sophisticated Chardonnay, noted for aromas of lemon blossom, white stone fruit, toasted hazelnuts, and green apple pear, has won a Bronze Medal at the 2017 Rutherglen Wine Show. The winery emphasizes sustainable practices, avoiding artificial fertilizers, and invites wine lovers to experience their craft through virtual tours of their estate.
