Fire Gully Farm & Vineyard

Fire Gully Farm & Vineyard is situated in the heart of Wilyabrup, Margaret River, Western Australia. The property was named after two significant bushfires in 1952 and 1970 that affected the central gully. Originally owned by Ellis and Margaret Butcher, who planted vines in 1988, the vineyard was acquired by Dr. Michael Peterkin of Pierro in 1998. The vineyard benefits from ancient gravelly loam soils, old vines, regenerative farming practices, and coastal influences, contributing to the unique character of its wines. All grapes are hand-picked at sunrise and processed at the Pierro winery under Dr. Peterkin's guidance, resulting in wines that reflect the essence of the Margaret River region.
