Esterlina Vineyards & California Winery

Special attention is paid to the climate, soil conditions and geography of each vineyard site. These factors are studied and the appropriate varietals are chosen based on the results of our fact-finding.

Unique to Esterlina Vineyards is our 253 acres Mendocino County Cole Ranch appellation - the smallest appellation of the American viticultural areas. The Cole Ranch region is home to many of our Riesling, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Pinot Noir grapes. Esterlina's award winning vineyard is the sole vineyard in this much sought after appellation.

The gravelly soils of the Esterlina Alexander Valley Ranch produce some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignon in the region. One taste of this luscious cab with an up front cherry flavor and a silky finish verifies that the vines chosen for this soil are a perfect match.

The cool growing region of the Esterlina Russian River Valley Ranch was chosen to produce a classic burgundian style Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
