Covey Run produce their award-winning wines primarily from grapes grown in the Yakima and Columbia Valley appellations, which lie east of Washington's majestic Cascade Mountain Range. The weather in these regions is perfect for cultivating world-class wine grapes. During the growing season, warm, sunny days and extended sunlight hours (due to our northern latitude) develop intense flavors in our classic European grape varieties, while cool nights ensure they retain high levels of acidity, resulting in wines of rich fruit and superb structure.
