Boulder Bay Wines

Boulder Bay Wines is a boutique, single-estate vineyard located on Moturoa Island, the second largest island in New Zealand's Bay of Islands. The vineyard was founded by brothers Paul and Brett Duffy, with Paul having the vision and Brett, a viticulturist in Central Otago, providing the expertise. In 2011, they transformed a 2,200m² paddock into a vineyard, planting Syrah vines. The vineyard operates in a secluded suntrap, benefiting from high sunshine hours and quick-drying clay soils, which contribute to the production of full-bodied, premium wines.
