A pretty decent wine for the price. Spicey, yet rounded. A good every day wine. We had it with both chicken and turkey. It could have held up to beef as well.

unlike the 2005 vintage, the 2006 lacked the structure and fresh dark fruit flavors of it's predecessor. It was comparably weak and a bit flabby.

Great buy! This was a great bottle the first taste coats the mouth with smooth velvety tannins followed by deep dark rich berry flavors, summed up with a long satisfying finish.

rich ripe dark berries,spice, full bodied structured wine, with nice strong finish.
