Opened/Commented: 1st Feb 2008 By: stk7592  14.5% Alc is very apparent - wine needs air! After mellowing in glass is nice and spicy. Good with pizza, however, would be better with richer meats. Food needs to be quite complex to pair with. Is not bad as a stand alone wine, although a rich creamy fat would be better to knock some alc down. Not tannic, surprisingly smooth for a varietal wine of this price point. Nice wine. |
